About
The Prospector Inn is nestled in downtown Republic, a town rich with history dating back to the 1800’s. Our inn is a namesake to the many prospectors from the gold rush era (we’ve included a few representative images below). We are now an authentic piece of the main street in town and are close to these restaurants, coffee shops, and more.
History
The reason we are named Prospector Inn is because it was actually gold prospectors who founded Republic in the late 1800’s (though we also give credit to the natives that have been in the area for thousands of years).
